Life
Married to J.R. King for 22 years. Stepmother of four.
We have lived in Columbine Hills, Littleton, CO, for the last seven years.
Have been with DPS for 16 years in alternative education.
Getting a Master's in Professional Counseling through Regis University, finally!
Volunteer for Colorado Youth at Risk Program.
Volunteer as an on-call victim advocate.
Enjoyed professional singing for the last 8 years, but have developed...Expand for more
a neurological vocal disorder in the last year, so had to stop. Have been in speech therapy since August. This has been a tough haul.
Middle age is okay. I'm still being told I don't look any older than 35! I feel young. Working with youth has helped to me to stay young. I've had some physical illnesses the last 3 years that threw me for a loop, but I'm now on the road to renewed health!
