Julie's Story

Thirty year GHS graduate--wow! I am married to a great outdoorsy guy, Errol Pielaat, a general contractor, who I met on a blind date (never turn one down). Our son Wyatt is 11 years old...yes, we are indeed late-in-life parents and are thoroughly enjoying it. I've been a flight attendant for American Airlines for 28 years, although I haven't flown for 3 years, and am just enjoying being a wife and hom...Expand for more
eschooling mom. My flying career has afforded me wonderful opportunities to see the world and live in many different places such as New York, Dallas, Salt Lake City, San Diego, and Hawaii. I'm now residing back in deep-roots Glendora...a great place to raise a kid! It has been a real blessing to have stayed in touch with many friends from GHS and I'm looking forward to the next reunion. See you then!

Yet another gorgeous day in Glendora, CA. Windows open all day long, 78-80 degrees on July 10. Temps rising tomorrow, but it has been a glorious break of typically hot days. Kitties love it.
Julie Cook and Kathy Mathiesen Girl Scouts Troop 818...does anybody remember Kathy? It's hard to see her on the left, with the big ham front and center. Would love to find her.

Check out the Peahen and Peachicks on top of our roof. Their nest was right underneath Wyatt's bedroom window. Mama is teaching her babies how to "fly" off of our roof----yikes!
Son Wyatt usually takes First Place in his GHS Swim Team breast stroke competitions...so strong. That's my kid!!
Frits and FiFi...our five-month-old kittens. Wyatt found them as abandoned feral newborns and bottle-fed them. Aren't they gorgeous???

1996...Just found out I was preggers with our son Wyatt...so we took one last ride on SLVRHOG.
