Julie's Story
Life
Well, a lot has happened for me since high school as I am sure it has for everyone. I went to college (BYU) and graduated in 1995. I worked for Intermountain Healthcare until June 2008. I have worked in child psychiatry, physical rehab, and most recently as an Exercise Therapist. I am currently in management for an AED company. I teach CPR/First Aid occasionally, but try to just be a stay at home mom. If that doesn't keep me busy enough...I have 4 kids-ages 12, 9, 6, and 3. I also have 2 dogs. I am now married to the most wonderful man out there. He treats me like a queen and is very good to my children. I really never thought it possible to be this happy. We just moved from Bountiful, UT to Hollis, New Hampshire. So, the west coast girl is now an east coast girl. I love it...all except the humidity. I just visited NY,...Expand for more
NY, it is fun to have so much history and culture at your fingertips. Life could not be any better!
Workplace
I loved my job. I got to work with heart patients in cardiac rehab as an exercise therapist. It is like personal training only these patients have had open heart surgery or any other number of heart related surgeries. The best is when there are patients that are around long enough and they get heart transplants. It is fun to see them progress and start to feel better. I also love to teach my CPR and first aid classes. I like knowing that I have taught someone a life saving skill and hope that they are fully prepared to use it. My new job is to be a fulltime mom...oh my goodness that is a treat. It is nice to be able to focus on the most important people in my life and not be pulled in so many different directions.
