Julie's Story
I have had an interesting time since graduation. I was married for 20 years which produced three children; girl 34, girl 31, boy 28. I divorced and had no plans to remarry but met someone in Salt Lake City during a course I took which made me deal with my "stuff". He was from Kuna, newly divorced and he also has three kids. We have been married for 15 years. I worked for the State of Idaho for 28 years and had to take a medical retirement. We bought a small farm in Owyhee County and was the first to have a wind turbine to generate our own electricity. use in Caldwell. I have to admit I miss looking at the Snake River everyday and Guffey Butte but life is easier and we are now closer to everything. It is hard to believe how much time has gone by. I attended a Le Cordon Blu cooking school last year but life "happened" and I had to leave. Someday I will be a famous chef....when I grow up. Between the two families we have 9 grandchildren. There is never a dull moment!!! We traveled to Ireland and Scotland this spring. We were one of 466,000 people standing in Dublin for the St. Patrick's Day Parade...and then there was Guinness!! I am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.
