Julie's Story
Hello everyone,
Those of you looking for Kay Manskey Curtis, I am Kay's younger sister Julie. Kay was hurt badly in an auto accident in Spokane on the Newport hwy in 1990. She is in a nursing home in Spokane Washington with a head injury. Kay can not talk or move, but she can respond with a yes or no. Kay's thumb is yes, and pinky finger is no.

I hope you are well and life has been great for you!
My life is wonderful, I married my sweetheart from high school Rick Knowles. Rick and I have been together for 28 years and married 26 years. We are very happy, lots of hard work being married, but so worth it! He is my best friend, lover and life partner even now as we see the age coming on fast! Not liking it to much, but I know thats how God made it, so I better except it and love it for what it is and be grateful to Him for ALL his blessing, even the age thing!!!!
Rick and I have two children, David who is 25 who was in the Navy on the USS Detriot and now in school to be a plumber, Kindle our daughter is 21 and went to ...Expand for more
and graduated 2006 EHS! COOL HUH, she is still trying to find herself, but man does not need to much help from us, shes a go getter and about to make me a grandma in July of 2009!
Rick has worked at Jerry's Auto for 22 years and I am at Costco in East Wenatchee in the bakery. We just moved from Chelan to East Wenatchee in 2004 to build a house and we love it!
So if any of you wish to visit or call feel free, we are in the phone book.
I am not in law enforcement any longer, I do miss those I worked with at the Chelan PD, but glad to be going in a different direction. I am know longer doing pageants, to old now! LOL Love to help out with pageants though.
The lord is number one in my life and will always be number one. I am and will always be Julie the crazy one in high school. SPOOLY JULIE! I found out that loving God and being true to who you really are makes it even better. God loves a good laugh and happy people who smile and give warmth to others, so that is who I will remain to be until I die!
I pray all is good in everyones lives since high school, I will never forget those years and the friendships made. Many of you I see at Costco and it's so cool to know you stayed close to home. I pray for those classmates who passed away, know matter how they passed I know they are never forgotton in my heart and only God knows why it happened. I hope to see you all at the next class reunion, 30 year reunion! YIKES!
