Julie's Story

Life Hey!! Julie here. I'm not much for computers but I thought this might be fun. Let's see....I'm happily married and have 3 awesome kids who have tons of energy. My hubby rocks. We are into camping, playing games, four wheeling and hanging out with each other. I like to do martial arts and have studied for 6 years. I also like to go to the gym. It is relaxing and a good escape from my crazy life. I like vintage tee shirts and van shoes. All in the name of comfort, man. I walk through houses that are under construction because I think it is cool to see what the house really looks like before it is all prettied up. We built a house recently and did a ton of the work ourselves. I have a 1959 Chevy BelAir that I am going to be restoring. I realize that restoring a car is a money pit but hey, if i don't try it now, I never will. I work at a residential treatment center for women with eating disorders and I love my job. My favorite vacation spot is anywhere that there is a beach and my hubby. We like to go scuba diving, my husband goes way more often than I do. This summer we are going to Italy and I am really excited. I have a 5 year old daughter, a 3 year old son and a 1 year old son. My daughter loves the mud and the song "The ring of fire" by Johnny Cash. She also likes to cut her hair, which sucks. My 3 year old likes to take running head starts and headbutt people. He has gotten multiple bumps and bruises from missing his targ...Expand for more
et and hitting walls, chairs and things like that. He is definently a mama's boy. It is awesome to come home and have him run to me and hug my legs. My one year old was born with club feet but after surgery and some braces he is doing great. He scoots around on his butt and loves hugs and chocolate. He is a giggler and a tease. My hubby likes scuba diving, computer games, competitions of any sort, camping, playing the occassional game of pool, watching footbal, tickling kids, clogging, playing hearts and hanging out with "the guys". I struggled a lot as a teen with a lot of emotional and behavioral problems. With help from friends and an awesome family and a few months in a treatment center, I got a firm grasp on what life is really about. Our family is a low-key, layed back bunch of people. We have parties and spend time with each other. I have learned to become very compassionate and empathetic. My kids know that I love them and get a billion reminders of it every day. My husband has never questioned my love or loyalty to him. I miss my friends from high school and I sometimes wonder what I missed my senior year. But then I look at what I have and see how awesome my life has turned out and I know that my past and my screw-ups all led to this. Anyway, it would be great to hear from people. I haven't seen many of you guys in years. Have an incredible day and hope to hear from you guys soon. It would be great to catch up. C U later
