School a good memory is winning hi jinx our junior year as pippi longstockings. another is senior year when karen p. rode her horse across the band field as a publicity stunt. remember the calhi carnival in the parking lot? remember when they tried to have the entire campus open smoking and you had to dodge cigarettes walking down the hall? remember the tri-cal scheduling nightmare our freshman year? it might seem odd, but two things i'm very proud of are scoring 10 serves in a row against santa fe in a single volleyball game and making the only senior touchdown in powderpuff. other good things were the field trips and guest speakers--things that connected us to the real world. my favorite teachers were rawlinson (current events), smith (english 1), orr (newstaff), mc cauley (gov't), beck (ceramics), russell (volleyball), waller (track), murphy (u.s. history), dayhuff (economics), kerr (english lit)...actually, i liked most of my teachers, all except one, who gave me a referral to guidance for my 4th tardy to her first period class. College at the end of my senior year in h.s., i didn't know where i wanted to go to college or what i wanted to major in, so i followed my two best friends...Expand for more
