Julie's Story
I missed out on having kids of my own. But I am step-mother to a beautiful teenage girl.(She lives with her natural mother.) I raised her every-other weekend for more than half her life. We are great friends. I've posted her picture.
After college I went into sales, then the corporate world. Finally got a big private office overlooking the N Dallas Tollway before getting burned out. I grew tired of the corporate world and all that goes with it. Also got sick of the growing traffic in McKinney (where I lived.)

ivate neighborhood on Lake Texoma. Since then we have been fixing up the place and making great new friends. I took a job running the office for a local construction company. Life here is slower paced so there is time to look at the stars, play with my dog and watch the flowers and veggies grow in my garden.
This past Feb (2008)I lost my husband to a massive, unexpcted heart attack. He was 42. But here I am and here I think I'll stay.
As of Dec 08 I am dating again. My boyfriend Bob lives and works nearby. He is great company as we both enjoy gardening, cooking and playing games.
