June Elizabeth's Story
Hello! If you've gotten this far, maybe you wonder why my Time-line ends in 1998. I've tried to add info about my years spent abroad, but there are no workplaces listed in England or Scotland. If you're curious, you'll just need to ask. Suffice it to say that after years in California and Britain I've come full circle and returned to my hometown. Easton is still a beautiful town. I'm enjoying learning more about Pennsylvania as I left for California less than 2 weeks after high school graduation and spent over 30 years there. I've traveled the world and come home to roost. inued re-transformation of this very old town called Easton. It would be fun to get involved with the State Theatre, perhaps as a drama coach. Clearly there's lots to do around here! Currently I teach English to Taiwanese students. I'd love to host foreign exchange students at some point. I also design and market beautiful textiles, and continue to travel between the 2 coasts, with trips to the UK as often as possible. I have a 25-year-old son named Jonathan who lives in Mendocino, CA and is studying to be a chef. Life is good! My very first job was at Horn's Dress Shop in Easton, where I got paid a pittance to steam clothing and generally hoist boxes around the stock room. What I remember most about Horns are the laughs and friendship I shared with Mary Ann Tersigni. We were recently reunited on Classmates, and I am delighted! She hasn't changed a bit: still beautiful, bubbly and tireless, with her hands in endless projects. Finding old friends is the best thing about this site. And I've made several new ones as well!
