June's Story
Two weeks after HS graduation, I married my sweetheart since I was 13 years old. We were both young and immature and didn't know what we wanted in life, so the marriage only lasted 6-1/2 years. We had a son, J.J. who was 3-1/2 years old when his dad and I split. J.J. is about to turn 37 and has a lovely wife and they have a 2 year old daughter who brings so much joy into her grandmother's life.
CAREERWISE: I found my love of bookkeeping in high school. I was immature when I first began working and so I jumped from job to job anytime something didn't go right on the job.

sted 22 years. I went from a billing clerk to a jr. accountant, then to an AP clerk when the company was bought out. I stayed in that job the last 6 of the 22 years. I left there to go somewhere I could advance, which lead me to CarMax. I was there for 9-3/4 years and moved from Clerk ll to Accounts Payable Specialist.
I am currently unemployed and toying with the idea of a career change....something more in the 'helping people' field. I had done volunteer work in a nursing home for 10-12 years and loved it.
Who knows what the next stage of my life will be but God. I am a christian and pray and believe that he has a plan for my life (better than my own plan had been!). I'll keep you updated on what the next stage is!!
