June's Story
I've lived in New York City since 1972 and am divorced with no children. I was an administrative aide for NYPD for 9 years and then came to work for the New York City Transit Authority. I just completed my 25th year as a conductor and will be retired by the end of 2009. It's been an interesting 25 years to say the least but I'm ready to move on.

retty cold and snowy, I have quite a few friends in the area and I like having all four seasons. Fall is great up there and the winter can be a lot of fun. I love hiking in the cold.
I am looking forward to doing more traveling, having more time for my hobbies, meeting new people, and doing all those things we don't have time for when we are so busy earning a living. Many people say these years are their happiest, busiest, and best. I expect to feel the same way. It's the next phase and I'm looking forward to it with great anticipation.
