My Pets
I have 2 foundation bred quarter horses plus 2 unregistered horses, 2 dogs - a black mouth cur and a chihuahua, and Best of all a Capuchin monkey.
Her name is Betsy. She is 5 yrs. old and I have had her since she was 6 weeks old. Raising her was just like raising another child. As a baby, she drank Infamil formula, ate Gerber baby food and even wore diapers and clothes. She now eats everything we do plus a few insects like grasshoppers, some flowers, and bird eggs she finds in the nests in trees.
My Kids
We have 2 girls. Our oldest daughter is married, so now I also have...Expand for more
a son! Our youngest daughter is a junior in college. Both of our girls are studying to be teachers. Our son-in-law is a Deputy here in Texas.
School
During high school I took Ag class with Mr. Wheelis. His daughter, Toby, was my oldest daughters student teacher. Talk about a small world! It was neat to talk to Toby and remember the good ole days of my youth.
Workplace
After high school, I was a waitress at Toyah Truck Stop. I worked there until I got married. My husband forbid me to work so I became a housewife and mother, which I still am to this day. It works for me!
