Once of age, I joined the military in hopes of defending these cities, this country, and most importantly, the ideal and principals that we are founded on. Beginning with the army, I spent three years as an infantryman, and later a tank driver. Afterwards, I joined the Coast Guard, where I received numerous medals and commendations, including a medal for my humanitarian efforts in Cuba and Haiti. During my military career, I received extensive training in both law enforcement and firefighting; and held Top Secret clearance until 1999. Coming to this great city in 1991 on the USCG Cutter Diligence having my 1st tour of duty to the North Atlantic, saving 6 fishing vessels and not being able to find- one in sub zero temps. The Andre Gale you may recall that name from the movie Perfect Storm. Yes it looked just like in the movie 45ft waves. Winning numerous Medals, Awards, and Commendations and then transferring to USCG Station Wrightsville Beach while being stationed their through hurricane Fran, saving many lives and property's. After opening my own business 1 year before I finished my tour of duty, I thrived over the course of 16 years,growing into one of the biggest tattoo studios on the east coast. I feel I am a patriot and a friend of the common man having worked in the federal government and having dealt with local municipalities, I can see what not to do and I sure know how to balance a budget:)".
