Kaarla's Story
Currently, I am a program planning and review specialist for the state of NH. I am responsible for the dissemination of funds from the legislature to individuals and families with developmental disabilities. Some of you may remember the Milford Special Needs group, that is where my passion began.
I have studied and taught aspects of community integration in England, Scotland, Australia and Japan. In 2006, I had an opportunity to consult throughout Japan. I met wonderful people and ate some new foods!
Sadly, my dad passed away about six years ago. He used to own the Cider Mill, not sure if that may ring a bell. I was very saddened to hear that Tim Mills passed away; he kept in touch for a number of years after graduation. He had a tender heart and a tough exterior.

in my thirties. I have a ten year old athletic son and a 12 year old daughter who is bright and sensitive.
I have been a single mom for six years but date the guy down the street who is a single dad with two kids. I bet Ted Lemon is reading this and laughing. (I guess I have a thing for boys who live next door, LOL)We hang out on Lake Winni alot and my mom still has a cottage on the ocean in Maine. I enjoy the solitude of listening to the waves as much as an active night life.
The kids help me run my golden retriever business which is a little supplemental income. We are AKC registered breeders and have met many friends selling GOLDENS!
Life is rolling on and I do feel that I am feeling older than I was last year. I am trying to be graceful about that whole aging process. (and keeping a sense of humor about it, too!)
