Life I always said I'd never marry a farmer or live in MN. I have done both. We live in Brewster, a town of about 500 people on a good day.Dave & I work at Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington. I am a RN working in ED/CCU/ICU/PACU. I am also an EMT and firefighter on the Brewster Fire Department. I am an adrenaline junkie! It's such a rush running into a burning building or saving people's lives. We also raise stock cows, horses, chickens, sheep, and cats. We grow corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and oats to keep our many animals fed. I have become a real farm girl. Something I never thought possible 19 years ago. I live for the spring and fall so I can drive MY red tractor in the field. I don't plant, but have been known to drive a combine or two. Being alone in a field digging up dirt is very relaxing. If I didn't carry a cell phone it would be much better! For the rest of my story...Hope Erin turned 19 this year and will be a starting her 2nd year of college.
