Kandace's Story
Wow! How do you wrap up 30 years? After HS I went to undergraduate school in New Mexico - getting degrees in music performance and education; then onto graduate school at The University of Georgia - a masters and doctorate in performance. I moved to Gainesville, FL and was a Professor of Music at the University of Florida for 12 years - loved it! Got lots of travel/performance opportunities in the US and abroad as a soloist and in a professional chamber trio. My favorite place was Spain (and the wine country of France!) and I would love to take Kailee there someday soon.

ved a 3600 member congregation, then planted a church on the southside of Gainesville. In 2006 I moved to Orlando to take a position on the staff of Asbury Theological Seminary where I teach in our masters program and in our Latino/Latina Program as well. Now I travel as a preacher instead of a musician!
I married in 1991 to a great guy named Neil Brooks and we had one child - Kailee Janelle - who is almost 14 now. Neil died in October 2002 and while we miss him terribly, we are grateful for the time we did have together - he was a great husband and fantastic dad!
I love living in Florida, and I really appreciate the way my life has taken shape! I am hoping to make it up for the reunion and so look forward to reconnecting.
