Kandice's Story
Tell my story...ok, well, what is there to tell about life after Gilbert High. Was I glad to get out of that place! I'll give you the short of it. I moved out to Florida after high school and worked at Walt Disney World, while getting my two year degree. I stayed there for quite a while, loving life and loving my job. It gave me the opportunity to vacation in Paris. I came out of the closet working at Disney, definitely the gayest place on earth. I moved home in the summer of 2002, I think, and went to ASU. I worked here and there, and went to a few semesters before taking some more time off, playing, figuring out...Expand for more
what I wanted to do with life. I got a job at Applebee's, and made some lifelong friends that I still have today. Besides my time as an employee at Disney, my first year at Applebee's was incredibly memorable. Those friends have become my family, who I have grown up so much with. Today, I am in my last semester at ASU, finishing up my Interdisciplinary Studies degree. I write for a magazine called Sports Out Loud, and do some freelance work for Echo Magazine. I just finished my first cover story, which I'm very excited about. I live with my girlfriend of 1.3years, who I plan on spending the rest of my life with.
