Life Life Bio? Wow. That's tough. We'll start with the easy stuff. I'm married, and we have three kids. Three is enough in my house! Their ages are currently 11, 8, and 6. Boy, girl, boy. I never ventured very far from home. After growing up in good ole Ramsey, Troy and I lived in Coon Rapids, then Andover, and now in Oak Grove. I love it out here. Nice and quiet. I just started working at our elementary school this year, and I really love it. I'm a Para in the Special Ed department. It hardly feels like a job. And it's so different from the Admin positions I've always had. I've done Insurance, City work, Executive Secretary, HR and Investments. This job might pay less than all the others but I like it the best. There's just no multi-tasking involved. :) Gotta love that. And there's no need for daycare, so that's a big bonus. Oh, and did I mention that I will have summer's off? Yes, that is just a 'minor' plus of this job. Needless to say, I'm thrilled. I first tried to get into our school district about 4 years ago. Nothing, until they finally called me this fall. I never did change my last name, so I'm still Kara Dahl. When we got married, I just thought I'd wait, probably till we had kids. Well. . . then came kids. And I thought I'd change it before they went to school. Yeah, well, that didn't happen. I did look into it, but it costs money and you need to go to court and have people vouch for you, and it's way more complicated that it would have been had I done it 13 years ago, so whatever.
