Karan's Story
I continued my education and earned a bachelor's degree in Education and Psychology and a Master's in Reading Education. Currently, I am a reading specialist for a school district. I evaluate and diagnose students for reading and developmental issues and work with them to overcome these issues.

roblems. I feel rewarded with what I do in my profession.
As for some personal facts, after being married for 20 years I became a widow in 2001. I then moved to The Hudson Valley to live close to my family. My mother passed away in 2011. I continued teaching until in I retired in 2021. I am now looking forward to a new chapter in my life doing exciting things and traveling to new places.
