Karen's Story
Things have changed since I wrote my last story.
My daughter has graduated from high school (2004) and a very proud Mama of a 2 year old daughter named "Aimee" after my Grandmother and Mom. They moved to Texas in September and I was heartbroken. I went to visit them in April to see them and celebrate Aimee's 2nd birthday. Aimee is a true joy to everyone. Now her Mama knows the pride and love that I always told her about being a Mama and how wonderful it is. Aimee gets to see her Daddy's family and gives them joy also.

the "retirement" age for one of the companies I used to work for and receive a "retirement" check every month. I keep telling everyone that I am 25 housed in a 55 year olds body. I try to walk at least 10 miles a day... sometimes I get in more than that. I am very active and enjoy being outside, working in the garden or playing with Daisy, my white American Pit. Daisy and I like to sit out by the fire (in a firebowl) and just relax and listen to the sounds of the night.
