Karen's Story
Since high school I've been married 3 times and I've had 4 kids! I lived in Norman and OKC for a couple of years before moving back to McAlester. I lived in Nevada last year (IT SUCKED) and recently moved to Alabama, but with my husbands job, that won't last long. He's on his way to Iraq and I'm headed back to Dad's while he's gone.
My kids are Kevin, 15; Matthew, 9; and Aidan, 2. I lost Kristopher 11 years ago when he was 14 months old. With...Expand for more
my boys I've learned to NEVER stick my hands in their pockets and always know where the nearest ER is.
I've worked as a Wal-Mart checker (Norman), Pharmacy Tech (Norman), Surgery Clerk (McAlester), Rehab Secretary (McAlester) and I was a shift manager for the Army Air Force Exchange Service (where I met my husband). I briefly worked here in AL at the local hospital, but I decided I didn't like my boss so I quit. I like staying home anyway.
