Karen's Story
Life
Okay, here goes. I got married right out of high school and shortly after, gave birth to the love of my life, Amanda. Three years after she was born, I divorced my 1st husband. I then met someone who I thought was special. We moved in together and I became pregnant with my second child. Shortly after, he became abusive and so I had to leave him. I had a little boy and gave him up for adoption for personal reasons. He is in my family though, so that's good. A few years after that happened, I met my husband, Eddie. He taught my daughter when she was in 1st grade and I fell head over heels in love with him. Once Amanda was no longer in his class, we started dating. That was 4 years ago and we have now been married since June of 2004. He is the best thing that ever happened to us! I just can't say enough good things about him so I will leave it at that. We are currently trying to have a baby of our own, but have had no luck so far. Hopefully, it won't be long though! We have two Dobermans, Dixie and Clubber. ey are the best pets I have ever had. We also have a lovely Siamese named Jade who just wants to eat all the time. As far as what I do for a living, I am a financial assistant for The Overby Company, a small company in Columbus that sells office supplies, copiers, and furniture. I am currently attending Troy University via internet classes hoping to earn a degree in Business Administration but the math is kicking my butt! My husband wants me to teach but I'm just not cut out for it. I like my kid but I don't know if I can deal with a whole group of other people's kids, especially since alot of parents out there are so darn lazy about their kids' education. This I know because my husband sees it everday. My hobbies include gardening, walking, and just hanging out with my daughter and husband. I also enjoy having AA (attitude adjustment) meetings with my co-workers one Friday each month. :-)
All in all, life is good. We've had some rough roads to travel but they have led us right to where we are supposed to be. This is the happiest I have ever been in my whole life!
