Karen's Story
After graduation, I attended Contra Costa College for a short time, got married, moved to Grass Valley, had 2 wonderful kids, now 22 years old and 18 years old who is now graduating in June of 09 from Oakmont High School in Roseville, California. Divorced in 1996, moved back to Pinole area, then in 2002 my job relocated to Roseville, CA where I have been living ever since. ith our 2 dogs and 2 cats. My son who is 22 and myself are attending Heald Business College, yep I am back at school getting my Medical Assisting Degree AAS degress with hopes of finally getting my nursing degree that I wanted to achieve when I attended Contra Costa College back in 1982. I have been attending since October 2007 and will graduate in January 2010 and my son will graduate along side me with a Criminal Justice AAS degree and will continue through and get his AA and will be taking the sheriff's test. He would like to become a detective.
