Karen's Story

After high school I went to Sonoma State, got a psychology degree. Then moved to San Juan Island, Wa. to study the orca whales. I worked as kayak guide, whale naturalist and helped run a small resort on San Juan Island. I got married Sept. 2000, have twin step kids that are now 19. We are now living on L...Expand for more
ake Washington in Kirkland. We still have a house in San Juan Island and go there as much as we can. We hope to move back to the island when the boys move out. My family loves the water. Our favorite things to do are fish, sail, crab and whale watch. Right now I am a nanny for six kids (all one family).
