Karen's Story
Life
After graduating from Suny Cortland, I married my husband Dave in 1994. We lived in Binghamton for a few years before moving south to North Carolina. We have been here since 1996. We have two boys, Jack and Luke. I have taught preschool in the public schools here, and then for the past five years, I have been a teacher for the visually impaired with ...Expand for more
a state agency. I chose to change my career path a bit, after finding out that our youngest son, Luke had a visual impairment. We love it here in Asheville, and enjoy the beautiful mountains and all they have to offer. I have been running for a few years now, and have done a few 5k's and recently an 8k. We love to hike, camp, bike and do anything outdoors~
