Karen's Story

I am first of all Todd Goodman's wife. We have one child living, Gary who will be 25 in March. We'll be married 27 years in March. I am disabled and stay at home and try to clean it. It gets hard when you're cleaning after 32 men. I am doing cake decorating for something to do. It is fun and you never quit learning. Let me know if you need a cake and I'll see what I can do. Todd and I love to go Kayaking in out kayaks which he built. He is Building a cedar strip canoe that is up forsale. Should be finished soon. This is red cedar like you see growing around here. I designed my kayak and he built it. He build his too and everything is built out of red cedar. He built Ga...Expand for more
ry(our son) a canoe for his graduation. And it has grown from there. I love to do flower gardens and that has helped learning to shape flowers. You have to know what they look like to put them on a cake. I hand model roses. Working on Cana Lillies. Then I paint then with food coloring mixed with water. You don't paint hand molded chocolate roses. I made a chocolate cake last night with chocolate roses and garland. It is pretty. Almost too pretty to eat. But it is delicious. I'm on Facebook too. I still sing and play the piano and guitar. Todd gave me a Fender 12 string a few years back, but the arthritis is making it hard to play. That's all I'll say about me for now.
