Karen's Story
Life
After living in various places in Europe (Milan, London, Munich, Stockholm and sort of Amsterdam and Antwerp) for 5 years, for the past 6 years I have been living in Sydney, Australia and am now a citizen. I'm only a 5 minute walk from Manly beach and what a laid back lifestyle we have!
How did I end up here? I took a year off after resigning from Bausch & Lomb and this was one of my stops to ...Expand for more
visit friends I had made during my 1996 business trip. I fell in love with the lifestyle and decided to stay.
Do I miss Kansas City? Well, it's been 20 years since I've lived there, but I very much miss my family and I manage to catch up with my friends every year or two when I visit (which is probably how much time they would have for me if I lived there, given the number of children they have!!)
