Karen's Story
I moved to the Washington DC Metro area for 10 years, in 1984. Loved it there. Came back to Texas due to my mother's illness. Stayed mainly because of the excellent job I have been at for 22 years. But I do miss the area.
I have 2 grown children. Kristopher, age 29, and Samantha age 27. Kris has been married 3 years and is a pilot. Samantha has been married 6 years and is a grant writer. They really are the best children a mother could ask for. and I really love my daughter-in-law and son-in-law too. We are all very close. My son and his wife are expecting in December and this will be my first grandchild. I am very excited needless to stay.
I lost the love of my life to cancer about 4 years ago.

nding the time is difficult. I like sports, only to play not to watch and will do anything that takes place outdoors. I very much enjoy being outside. I am a Jehovah's Witness and so I spend a lot of time in the ministry (yes I am one of those people who knock on your door that you do not want to see) and a lot of time involved in Christian activities.
I currently live in Katy. My children insisted I move closer to them and after about 3 years I finally gave in. I am happy now that I did since the grandbaby is on the way.

P.S. Does anyone know what happened to Patty H? I am sorry I cannot remember her last name but her life was pretty horrible. I have wondered about her from time to time throughout my life and I do pray that things improved for her. Thank you again.
