Karen's Story
I have lived in the Litchfield Hills County for about 14 years now. Barkhamsted for 9 yrs, my daughter graduated from Norwest Regional #7,in 2003. I have now been in Winsted for 5 yrs.
I was a pharmacy technician, and keep up my license every year, just to have something to fall back on besides I earned it!
Went back to college just for a 16 week computer course and then went to work for a doctor, in Torrington (Orthopedic Surgeon), even required their services this past year, naturally my doctor was in surgery this past ...Expand for more
Dec. 10th, when I fell on black ice broke my wrist in two places, so I saw one of his partners in the practice which worked out well as he was the hand specialist, my doc generally does hips and knee replacements although he does see many other areas, probably should have had the sx that they recommended but I chose not to, and you know the rest.....the wrist hasn't been the same since. but I get by.
I enjoy my job and the fact that the doc is a surgeon which means he is not always in the office so I am not over worked..lol
