Karen Dunworth's Story

During my senior year I started working for the phone company and stayed there for 14 years. Married, had a daughter and divorced 1 1/2 years later. Next marriage lasted 12 years. Hubby was into motorcycling so I had a custom trike built for myself. I guess that would be the most surprising things about me, or so say my friends. The longest trip I took on it was to Baltimore. Found out there was more to life, too many things to see and do. In 1988 I started working for Public Service, now Xcelenergy as a contract analyst....Expand for more
Been there nearly 21 years. After several years of being alone and spending my time working and remodeling an old tudor home in north Denver I became reaquainted with an old friend who I've been married to for the last 30 years. We live on a mini-farm in the Washington with a horse, a pygmy goat, 5 dogs, fish and a crabby bird, and a small herd of alpacas. 2/19/12 We're now retired and have enlarged our alpaca farm! I've been busy processing fleece, knitting and spinning yarn. SO much better than the corporate world.
