Karen's Story
Life
Married my husband, Andrew in 1989. We have 2 children, Josh, 11 (5th grade- rock-star to-be) and Justin, 7 (1st grade- future baseball hero).
Love visiting Ojai, Lake Tahoe, Hawaii, travelling.
School
At Nordhoff the music and drama departments inspired me and kept me going.
College
Graduated from CSUN with a Bachelor of Music degree. Later I went back to CSUN to earn a K-12 music teaching crede...Expand for more

In 2004, I graduated from USC with my Masters in Music Education.
Workplace
My craziest jobs were as a singing waitress and reunion photographer!
Since those days, I've been a music teacher in elementary school, middle school, and at the university level, as well as teaching private voice lessons.
Now, I have a job I love- as the classroom editor for a music publisher and I also write books for them.
