Life
Since I can never find out who's 'found' me here...go to FACEBOOK.COM and type in my name, and send me a message there!!! THANKS! K.
Hi~
I'm just interested in seeing who might be here, or even remember me for that matter. I only spent my last year at James M. Hill, as I moved around with the military. I remember singing onstage in front of most of the school...I can barely imagine doing such a thing! I even remember playing the piano...composing some sort of song for the hockey player that was paralyzed, though I don't remember the song now.
I went to the prom with Eric Hallmen, the swedish exchange student from '89. I also wrote the class of '89's Grad song..."A Backward Glance"...corny but fun, in retrospect! I wish I could remember the name of that crazy class and wild teacher...we did square dancing, camping...music (Oh Danny Boy?!)...
I am currently living in Florida, a stay at home mother of four children. My oldest daughter is 14yrs, then my youngest three are a boy, age 4, another boy age 3, and a girl, age 2. I was originally married young, soon after high school in fact, at the naive age of 19. I was divorced by 21.
I returned to college and did an accelerated cours...Expand for more
e in Medical Admin, graduating with honors. I worked in several hospitals while I spent six years as a single mother and then met my current husband online (!), and we have been happily married for seven years now.
I am writing as much as possible and have seven manuscripts under review for publication. I just don't have enough free time to devote to it as I'd like to! So far I have written mostly children's books, but I am preparing to undergo some extensive research on a more comprehensive work of fiction.
We went through quite a scare with our youngest, she was diagnosed with a rare congenital disorder and was into the children's hospital for surgery at seven months old. It's a long story, but she's fine now!
I am thrilled to be home with my children, and value this time in my life. I hope to list a whole slew of published books on here soon!!!
For now, we have a good life in the balmy and beautiful Florida, and though I miss the majesty (and seasons) of my home country, the States has been a wonderful place to live.
So far I haven't talked to anyone who remembers me, and I haven't found anyone I definitively remember either!! We'll see what happens.
Sincerely,
Karen (Ferguson)
