After graduating in 1971, I abandoned my ambition of a professional singing career and became a Registered Nurse. ined some independence and started the Nat'l Spinal Cord Injury Hotline, where I served as Director for 17 years. (I even appeared as a guest on Oprah and have been the subject of many articles!) I completed a Master's degree and teach at a local college. It's been a wondrous journey, despite the obstacles!
