Life
Life has been interesting since those fun-filled years at Camp Springs, Lanham, and Liberty University. After 9 years teaching deaf students in Miami, then 3 years driving a big-rig with my husband (we saw every state except Maine and New Hampshire), things have slowed down significantly! We have settled in southwestern Indiana where we're enjoying friends and family in small-town USA. Though my husband and I are not farmers, we love the farming community we live in. doing a little bit of everything - I am writing for our local newspaper, teaching sign language classes at our community learning center in the evenings, started a t-shirt embroidery/printing business, and work as the secretary in our chamber of commerce (where my husband is the president!). God has blessed us with a few acres of land, a comfortable home, a family-oriented community, and an incredible church.
No kids, but we do have 2 high-maintenance dogs (toy poodle and yorkie-poo).
