Karen's Story
Life
I married in 1998 we have 4 boys, 7yr old Zachary, and 5yr old triplet boys, Simon, Maxwell, and Nicholas>We live in Old Bridge, NJ
I recently started a special soccer program for children with autism, aspergers, and other disabilities in my town, and we have a buddy program called just4kixs. Two of my children have disabilities, Max is autistic and Zack has aspergers. They boys are doing well and Maxwell is talking now and making great progress. I love doing the soccer with them and working with other children with developemental delays.
Workplace
I have recently retired from the Airline Industry of 12 years to be a stay home mom.
I am back to work in 2007, my husband and I own a Portuguese and Spanish BBQ in Dunellen NJ.
I always wanted to be a flight attendant when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were close.

If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the livingroom and add on a outdoor porch. My dream home would be complete.
I've learned to never give up on anything, seeingmy little boy struggle to come out of autism is the determination I've seen in a small child and I have learned nothing is impossible.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 50million of it to autism speaks, then spend the rest on building a school for children with autism, pay of fmy house and get a massage.
My current age is 37. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be living the good life. I was so completely right.
My first job was at freedmans bakery, where I got paid 5.50hr to sell pastries. What I remember most about it is scott coucci worked next door and the drug store and would come over to visit me during the day and I would give him free stuff cause I thought he was so cute..
