Life
My Spouse:
I was married and divorced twice, and then was single for almost eighteen years when I met my third husband, and I had no intention of ever marrying again. We've now been married 25 years (2017) so this one seems to "work" okay.
My Pets
Had a dog for 19 years and it was like marriage. I vowed never to get attached again because losing him hurt too much. I never liked cats. Suddenly someone asked me to take a stray cat and then there were 2 cats and then 3 cats. One died, we got another from the animal shelter and again had 3, Betty Bacall, Katie KU and Buster Kitten. I love them differently, but I love them just as much as the dog I had for so long. We lost the two girls within a couple of weeks of each other, and lost Buster at 12 years old but we saved our little Black Beauty a couple of year's ago around Halloween and she's a real loving kitty!

Job
I sold my business after 14 years in the wholesale beauty industry. Now I assist project managers at an engineering firm and it's totally different and a real challenge.
I can't believe that 2005 marked our 40 year high school anniversary! I wonder why no reunion was planned. I'm glad someone did put together the 60th birthday party for us.
Workplace
I worked a lot of different things over the years. Even got paid a few times for acting (my life dream) but never got far with it. I owned a bar in North Carolina for a few years and then had my own beauty supply business. I've now been with Burns & McDonnell Engineering in Kansas City for almost 15 years and I love it. but I did retire in January 2018..
I always wanted to be a actress when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a remotely possible idea. As it turns out, they were right on "remotely".
