Holy cow, those song list choices sucked! Oh well, the truth is, in '74 I really WAS all about "Bennie and The Jets"!
I'm not one of those people who feels the need to post on Twitter what kind of sandwich I'm having for lunch, but if you'll indulge me a bit, there's something in all this for you.
Where I've been, where I'm going, and maybe why you should care :)
If you knew me back in the day, you'll remember I was horse crazy. Some things never change. :) My husband, David, and I have owned a horse farm for 25 years in Huntingtown, beautiful Calvert County, where we run our horseback riding school. In high school I used to visit Calvert County and dream of having a farm there. Sometimes dreams DO come true! Our place is called New Era Farm and if you add a dot com, you'll find us on the web.
We have 15+ acres, 19 stalls and an indoor riding arena, which keeps us in business all year 'round. It's been a fabulous place to live, and for this military brat to settle into one home for so long has been a departure from my early years of seemingly endless moves.
But, time moves along, our parents are getting older and need us to be closer, so we've decided to sell our property and move to a new farm further south to get closer to the folks.

s tough real estate market it occurred to me that we needed to get the word out to people outside of real estate circles, too. We decided to offer a private finder's fee to anyone who sends us a buyer for our farm &/or our two gorgeous building lots (available together or separately). So, David and I are offering up to $10,000.00 to anyone who sends us a buyer(s) for all or part of our property. The details are simple, few and straight-forward, so drop us a line if you want to know more.
Realtors are protected and get paid full commissions, too, as this is a private offer from us to you. All you have to do is contact us before your "prospect" has their first showing, we'll keep your details on our list, and if your people complete a settlement under the terms, we write you a check for your services. You need do nothing more than tell us you're sending your friends. We think it's a "something for everyone" arrangement. Pretty sweet return for just having a conversation, and probably better than knowing I'll be having roast beef on whole wheat, right? <G>
