Karen's Story
Our 30 year reunion. WOW!!!
I have had, and am having, a wonderful life!
Tom and I have been married 29 years in June.
We have 2 children. Ashley (25), is currently attending St. Mary's Teachers credentialing program. Our son Ted (22) attends Cal Poly, majoring in soils and vitaculture.
I am an LVN, but retired 7 years ago.
5 years ago, I lost my hearing. I am completely deaf.
I received a cochlear implant approx. 4 and a half years ago. It has been a blessing!!!!

orite spot in the world is my parents summer home in McCall, Idaho!
We have lived in Woodland since 1986. We have an old home on Pendegast St. which we have (almost) completely remodeled over the 12 years that we have lived here.
Wendi (Warden) Zane and I are still best friends and live only a few blocks ffrom each other!
I have a Lab, Pug and a sweet kitty.
I work with a girlfriend who owns a dog walking/pet-sitting business.
I don't need my hearing to walk dogs. They don't talk back!!!
Can't wait to celebrate with my class in August!
