Karen's Story

On graduating Mira Costa, I went to El Camino, then left for Berkeley and fun at the Free University for a year or so. Went back to the JC and became one of the few women graduating in industrial design from CSULB. d (38 years) to Ira McNabb, we moved to Fullerton, CA, and had 3 kids. I continue working to save Coyote Hills, some of the last natural open space in North OC, from development. Succeeding at turning OC blue! Employed at Beckman 31 years. Now retired, enjoying grandchildren, drawing and painting, and exploring my family’s WWII history.
