Karen's Story
Wes Denton and I got married right out of high school. We have lived in Virginia Beach , Va for over thirty years. We have lived in the same house for twenty four years. Our house is about twelve miles from the oceanfront resort area and two miles from what has recently become "downtown Virginia Beach."

rl. A fourth grandchild, another boy, is due in November.
Wes works for a company that recycles oil, oily water, and anti-freeze. He drives around most of the day talking on the phone and has truck drivers that do the dirty work. The best part of his job is that he constantly gets to meet new people--something he has always been good at and enjoys.
I went back to school after our children were almost grown. I received my masters degree from Old Dominion Universty and am now a speech-language pathologist.
