Karen's Story
Life
I moved to germany after graduation,
attended Univ. of MD-Munich campus for
winter semester, met, dated and became
engaged to my husband Lincoln Beckner.
We were married in Aug 1980 and will have been engaged 30years ago in Feb'10. We have
3 terrific children Linc jr.-20, Zach-17,
and Kaelin-10yr. We live in Cincinnati
and have for 29yrs!I totally loved
visiting Anniston and attending my 20th
reunion! Then a mini BFF reunion in Destin Fl in Sep.2001 (a week or so after 9/11....) Now i'm on FB and have reconnected to sooo many of my HS and other friends...its great! We are Church shopping as our church home is closed since Sept. I'm still helping my husband and his company Barking Dog Design. My cousin has moved to the area (he's quadr...Expand for more

My youngest is now attending the School for Creative and Performing Arts here in Cincinnati which is very exciting and different from what we have been used to. The folks/sister live in Wisconsin one nephew recently married, my niece soon to be married and a baby on the way there. God has blessed and continues to be with our Family. I pray He is in your life too!;)
Military
Truthfully, I'm an Army Brat. My father was the one in the military--I considered going into the reserves out of High School. The military life was pretty good to us - it is a culture of it's own. It had its cons-leaving friends, changing schools ... but I wouldn't change my life experiences at all! God Bless America.
