Karen's Story
Life
Since graduating from SLA I have done so many things I'm not quite sure where to start. I started nursing school, married, had a son, went back to nursing school and finished. After that I had two more sons (that makes 3). I was divorced and remarried and have a step daughter (would do anything to get that girl!)The kids are all grown. One middle son (the actor) was married and divorced but gave me a wonderful grandaughter (Katie 12). Katie just made her Broadway debut in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". My oldest son (the lawyer) is married and has a beautiful little girl (Julia, 18 mos old.)...Expand for more
And my youngest son (the rock star)is working in graphic arts. My step daughter is a school teacher, she just had a baby girl (Lucy, 4 mos. old.) Notice I have a lot of girls in my life now! Life is funny that way! My husband is a retired high school teacher. I left the nursing profession after more than 30 years and sell real estate here in Monmouth & Middlesex Counties, New Jersey. I have continued with my love of theatre. My husband and I have a company; NeverLand Theatre which operates out of the College of Staten Island Center for the Arts. We have a great time performing and producing shows.
