Karen's Story
Life
After graduation in 1971, I went to work for the Ontario Government where I stayed until my retirement in December 2002. I worked for the Ontario Dept of Lands & Forests (later renamed to Ministry of Natural Resources) from 1971 to 1976 in White River and from 1987 to 2002 in Toronto and Peterborough. From 1976 to 1987 I went over to the Ministry of Correctional Services, Probation and Parole Services in Elliot Lake and Sudbury.

band is a long haul truck driver. Divorced in January 2012.
I keep busy with hobbies, my 3 cats, my volunteer work at the Royal Canadian Legion (where we're both members).
We moved to Massey following my retirement to be closer to family.
I no longer have my cats (they all suffered health issues at the ages of 14, 16 & 18 so I did the only humane thing I could for them, the last one a year ago.
After living in the Temiscaming, Qc area for 4 years, I relocated to the Kitchener-Waterloo area in June 2015 to start a new life again.
