Karen's Story
Life
After graduating early, I became a "ski bum" and began my travels. I lived in Mammoth, Aspen, Washington D.C., Alaska, Seattle, and Oahu. I moved back to Long Beach in 1980 and worked at Long Beach Naval Shipyard until being layed off in 1994 due to base closure. The government graciously paid to retrain me, for a career in Television Production. I now own my own Production Company and I'm having a blast! I've done work for Wa...Expand for more
rner Bros., Speedvision, FEMA, local cable and television stations and more. It's an exciting job that is both challenging and ever changing.
I've been married for nearly 20 years and we have two children ages 19 & 17. My hubby is also from Long Beach Naval Shipyard and is now retired and helping me with the business. We live in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. We enjoy boat races, classic cars, and spending time with friends and family.
