Karen's Story
Life
I moved away from Salinas in 1985, and except for a short six months as an apartment manager in Fowler, I have lived in Visalia ever since.
I have been married to my husband, Kevin Roberts, since September of 1987.
My daughter Jennifer married in 1995 and is the mother of two beautiful sons. Her husband, Dewayne, works for the Tulare County Sheriff's department as a Sheriff Deputy. They own a home in Visalia and are very happy.

he Navy as a deep sea dive instructor. Cory brings with him two sons. Yes, that make four grandsons! (Time for a granddaughter!) They own a home in San Diego and we are very happy. My husband and I are so happy for both are daughters.
My parents both passed away in 1987. They were just 55 & 56 years old. They were way too young. We lost them within ten weeks of each other. It was very hard on my brothers and myself. I also realized that they were the glue that held my family together. Today, I have no idea where four of my five brothers are. I guess life goes on.
