More about Karen:"I love my family (especially grandchildren), friends, and pets. We have two goats, a rabbit, a guinea pig, and six dogs, although some of the dogs were on the farm before my husband and I came. I'm especially interested in the fiber arts, and collect cashmere from my goats.

mentary School's Science Dept., and our rat terrier is being housed in a no-kill shelter where we can retrieve him once my spouse and I are able to do so. The guinea pig came with me and is enjoying himself immensely, because everyone plays with him and gives him treats.
I miss my spouse, goats, and rabbit, though. The rabbit and first goat were housetrained (though goats still don't make house pets except as babies if they have to be bottle fed--they're like toddlers investigating the whole world around themselves by putting EVERYTHING in their mouths! Plus, they will chew what they put into their mouths! Like real babies, though, they are very cute in the proper setting.
I hope I can get well enough to get my goats back soon.".
