Karen's Story
Life
I've been married to Travis Summers, from Garland, for 35 years. I met him while he was going to Navarro College. We have lived our married life in Garland. We have a son, Tyson, married to Kourtney Kimberlin from Garland. He is an Art Director in downtown Dallas and they also live downtown. Our Grandpuppy is Bucky, a Boston Terrier. live in The Colony. Our Grandcats are Jax and Luke. No grandkids yet. Pets will work for awhile. We enjoy seeing our kids most weekends.
I've been the secretary at Davis Elementary in Garland for 20 years. I plan on retiring from there someday. Hopefully when it equals 80. Travis retired from the Post Office in Dallas after 35 years. Another new page in our life.
I've now lived in Garland longer than I lived in Corsicana/Retreat.
Trying to age gracefully and stay healthy.
