Karen's Story
Life
Married to Baron Pressley (30 years). I am a middle school principal in the Eagle Mountain/Saginaw school district. We live in Saginaw with our two daughters (Catherine, 20 & Mary Beth, 24) and our spoiled labradoodle, Cricket. This is a photo of me with my two girls at a family function in Austin.
Workplace
I waited tables while I was in college - looking back, those were great times! I got my first teaching job at a middle school in Lake Worth (loved it!). ...Expand for more
From there I moved to Northwest High School where I taught for 12 years (loved it!). I left teaching for a while and was a sales rep. for the Xerox corporation but went back to teaching as soon as I could (hated sales!). When I returned to education I taught elementary PE while working on my Master's degree in administration (no papers to grade, etc...oh, my gosh, elementary PE was an absolute hoot!!). Now I am principal and I love my job...I love the kids! : )
