Life
My name is Linda (Karen) Waters. The former Linda Karen Smith, Linda Karen Cowart, Linda Karen Brashear. I registered as Karen, because I always hated Linda. Hey, the third time is the charm!!
I retired after 20 years in the Army, November 2003. Finally got my Paralegal Certificate! Got married a couple of years ago. Opened a Western Store this past March and am having a great time. I plan to participate in community events more and am going to be a Director in the Long County Chamb...Expand for more

Military
I joined the Army in 1983 and went to Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, SC. From there I went to Ft. Benjamin Harrison, IN for Advanced Individual Training (AIT). My first duty station was in Germany. I was in Germany twice, Korea three times. Went to Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Served in Somalia and Haiti, too. My travels took me around the world and I had a great time and met many wonderful people. Now I'm retired in Georgia.
