Karen's Story

Above is a picture of the Jeff and I at his Graduation from 8th grade. Life Well 2008 was fairly uneventful other than the economy going to hell. I am determined to make 2009 a much more successful rememberable year. I have had a really hard time adjusting to John living on his own. I miss having him around. You will see among my picture is my oldest son John, whom graduated with honors from Shorewood High School in 2005. John was in the top 10 percentile of seniors nation wide. He is currently attending the University of Washington, majoring in Economics. John will turned 22 this year and has completely flown the coop. Talk about adjustments...Lets just say it has not been fun. My youngest son has now graduated 8th grade with honors from a private school in Shoreline. His name is Jeff, and...Expand for more
is also an honor student, and very gifted in Math & Science. He has a sense of humor that is contagious. He cannot stand surprises he absolutely must solve every mystery he encounters, which includes peeking at presents during the holiday season. He decided to join the football team this year which made me crazy,however he had a great time this season and will most likely continue. I can't remember life before them. I could not have asked for a greater blessing! I have spent the last 10 years taking them around the world, and together we have learned more from our travels than any formal education can provide. I am hoping to make contact with those of you who traveled to Europe with the Shoreline School District Band Choir and Orchestra the summer of 79'. Best wishes to all of you in 2009!
